Our Clinics & Services

 

 

We offer the following services to our patients;

 

Acupuncture - If appropriate, please make an appointment to see Dr Reynolds.

 

Ante Natal Clinic - Ealing Hospital Midwives run a clinic at the log cabin.

 

Commuter Clinic - Saturday mornings 8 or 9 am for four hours. Appointments are available with a GP.  All appointments need to be booked prior to the day via the reception (Monday - Friday).

 

Counselling - In-house counselling service via the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service run by John Ward. Requires referral from GP.

 

INR Clinics - For patients whose INR is stable and have been discharged from the hospital Anticoagulation Clinic, we run a nurse based INR clinic. 

 

INR Monitoring - The nurses have a specific INR Clinic twice a week. This can be booked via reception AFTER the hospital clinic transfers the patient to the practice clinic.

 

Minor Surgery Clinic - Held each month. Patients must make an appointment to see Dr Reynolds prior to a Minor Surgery appointment. Conditions treated include: removal of moles, skin tags, cysts and other small skin lesions as well as injection of most large and small joints.

 

Phlebotomy Clinic - Please ask for an appointment with our Phlebotomist. 

 

Family Planning & Well Woman Checks - Are done during routine, normal surgeries. We offer a full range of family planning services - for emergency contraception please ask for an urgent appointment, or for details of other Family Planning Clinics in the area. Mattock Lane Health Centre is the local Family Planning Clinic. 

 

Cervical Screening - The nurses usually perform cervical screening, give the results and recall the patient as necessary. Cervical screening results - a letter is sent from the hospital to the patient when the result has been received.

 

Routine Pill Check - Book an appointment with the nurse or nurse practitioner.

 

Coil Fitting - Please book a routine appointment with Dr Shah (F) initially to discuss the procedure and the fitting clinic is held on the last Monday of the month. Alternatively contact Mattock Lane Health Centre on 020 8383 5757.

 

Child Development Checks - Carried out by the doctors at 6 weeks of age. Please make an appointment with the doctor of your choice. The doctor can offer the post natal check and baby's 6 week check at the same appointment. Let the reception staff know that the appointment is for a 'baby check' as the appointment time is 20 minutes for baby and 20 minutes for mum. Please book these in advance.

 

Well Baby Clinics - Are held locally, details from the Duty Desk - 020 8383 5796.

 

Child Immunisations - First immunisations are done at 8 weeks by the nurse usually on a Wednesday morning AFTER baby has had a 6 week check. Book an appointment via reception. If the day or time is not convenient for you ask reception to offer you a routine appointment with a nurse for the child's immunisation.

 

Private Medicals - Not all services are free at the point of delivery and reception staff are trained to advise patients regarding private services available at the practice. Private medicals/reports for whatever reason and some vaccinations are deemed a private service and an agreed fee is charged. For examinations you will need to make an appointment with the doctor. The fee will need to be paid either by cheque or cash on the date the service is provided, we do not accept card payments. The GPs at the practice do not sign passport applications.

 

Our clinical rooms are all on the ground floor and have wheelchair access.
